Anita Ramachandran
Anita RamachandranAnita is a post graduate in Business Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Bombay - one of the premier management institutes in India. She has worked for 19 years in the management consultancy division of AF Ferguson & Co., formerly the KPMG associate in India. In her long stint with AFF she worked extensively in various areas of human resources and corporate strategy and headed the Human Resources practice. This included consultancy in recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, job evaluation, organisation reviews and change management programs. Anita has headed several major assignments for a wide variety of clients including multinational and Indian companies in diverse industries.

She left AFF in 1994 to set up Cerebrus and is now involved in a variety of assignments in organisation restructuring, HR policies, change management, and compensation and benefits. Anita is acknowledged as one of the foremost HR consultants in India and is an authority on compensation and benefits. She is frequently and widely quoted by Indian and international business publications. She contributes to a large number of business and academic magazines and is actively associated with various management and academic associations.


Sabitha Rao
Sabitha RaoA post graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta), Sabitha started her career with Citibank. After a two year stint at their corporate office, she moved to AF Ferguson and Co. where she handled a diverse client base ranging from family managed organisations to multinationals and international aid organisations such as the World Bank and UNICEF. At AFF, her assignments covered all aspects of HR including organisation restructuring, compensation surveys, training, performance management and job evaluations. Eight years later Sabitha moved to American President Lines, where she was looking after HR for the West Asia region accounting for about 450 employees.

With 18 years of experience behind her, Sabitha joined Cerebrus and established the Chennai branch of the company. Sabitha is currently the Director of our Chennai branch.


Varda Pendse Varda Pendse
Varda has a MMS (Personnel) from Narsee Monjee Management Institute, Mumbai. She worked for 10 years as a HR generalist with companies like Orson, NELCO and Colgate before joining Cerebrus in 1997. Varda heads the Mumbai operations of Cerebrus and is a Director with the firm.

Varda handles a wide range of assignments including Organisation Transformation, Compensation Management, Performance Management and Competency Profiling and Assessment Centres across different industry/ sectors. She is a well known trainer and has conducted a large number of programs around performance management, change management and Leadership development.



Rajashri Hazare
Rajashri HazareRajashri has a Masters Degree in Personnel Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. Her pre consulting career spanned over 12 years, and she has been with Cerebrus since 2001. As a HR generalist she worked with companies such as Nelco, Aristo and Wyeth Lederle before taking up a consulting career with Cerebrus in Mumbai. Rajashri is a Director with the firm.

Rajashri manages several of our HR transition assignments. She has led and managed various kinds of assignments in areas of performance management, assessment centres, organization re-structuring & transformation as well as setting and managing the HR functions for specific companies.


Suman Shankar
Suman ShankarSuman is a Post-Graduate from IMT-Ghaziabad. She has twelve years of consulting experience across organizations like A.F. Ferguson & Company, Ernst & Young and Cerebrus Consultants. She has worked with a large range of assignments for a variety of clients across private and public sectors. Suman has extensive experience in the IT industry. Her assignments across various sectors have covered different facets of HR like compensation and benefits, job evaluation, HR strategy, change management, training & development and manpower assessment.

Suman is currently heading our Bangalore office.



Asim Kumar
Asim KumarAsim is an engineering graduate and a post graduate in business management. He has multi-industry experience in managing businesses and consulting. Has worked with leading business houses and consulting firms like Tata Group, RPG, A F Ferguson & Co. and QAI India Limited to name a few. Over the years he has gained experience in various sectors with a mix of clients in private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Some of the consulting assignments handled were in the areas of organization structuring, human resource policies/procedure, compensation benchmarking & strategy, work level studies and recruitments.

Currently he is heading the North India operations out of Delhi.



Rajesh Kamath
Rajesh KamathMr. Rajesh Kamath is a B.E. in Industrial Electronics & M.B.A. from Newport University.

He has over 13 years of work experience in HR, Training and Management Development. He has worked in a large conglomerate across their various group companies in the Financial and Engineering Sector. In his last role, he was responsible for leading the Organizational Learning function in the Group. Prior to that, he was leading HR and Training functions in an IT Major. He has conducted several training programs in Leadership Development and Building Managerial Skills. He is a trained assessor and conducts internal Assessment Centers for the Organization. He has coached managers and worked actively with managers to develop their Individual Development Plans. He has been Head of the HR function for two companies in diverse sectors. He was instrumental in scaling up the Manpower skills and the HR processes corresponding to company's growth. He has been a member of the Shadow Board and a member of the Talent Management Council. He also heads a large pan India knowledge community in the field of People development. He also enjoys his role as a regular Guest faculty to several B Schools.

He joined Cerebrus Consultants as Head of Pune Region in 2006.
